David Adeleke was born on Nov. 21, 1992.

Davido lost his mother Veronica Adeleke at an early age.

Davido was enrolled at the British International School located in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Then he later got admission to Oakwood University, Huntsville, Alabama to study Business Administration. While at Oakwood University, Davido bought some recording and musical equipment to create music. Davido later stopped school and moved to Nigeria in 2011.

After consideration with his Dad, he was enrolled at Babcock University, Ogun state, and now finally graduated in 2015 with a first class in Music. Davido narrates that his Dad made a promise to his late mother that he will make sure Davido starts and finishes his schooling.

Davido released his 1st album Omo Baba Olowo (child of a wealthy person) in 2012 that time it was under HKN Music Record Label.
